South Branch Serenade Series

South Branch Serenade is back for its third season, bringing live music to Rotary Park every Thursday evening in July and August.

Inspired by the vision of Don Munz, who wanted to bring music to the waterfront, the concert series has grown into a favourite summer tradition for residents and visitors alike. Each week from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., talented local musicians take the stage, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing summer evening.

The concerts are free to attend and open to everyone. Bring a lawn chair, settle in, and enjoy an evening of live entertainment in one of Downtown Kemptville’s most beautiful outdoor spaces. Whether you’re relaxing in the park, strolling through downtown, or exploring the water by kayak or canoe, South Branch Serenade offers the perfect soundtrack to a summer evening.

If weather doesn’t cooperate, the show will go on. Concerts affected by rain will be relocated to a participating business in Downtown Kemptville, with updates shared through the Downtown Kemptville BIA at bia@downtownkemptville.ca and South Branch Serenade social media channels.

Make an evening of it by picking up takeout from one of our fantastic local restaurants, exploring the unique shops and businesses throughout Downtown Kemptville, and then heading to Rotary Park to enjoy the music. It’s a wonderful way to support local, connect with the community, and experience everything our downtown has to offer during the summer months.
