SUMMARY:Jonsson's Women's Fall Classic
DESCRIPTION:The North Grenville Curling Club (NGCC) in the heart of downtown Kemptville is the place to be from October 30 to November 2 if you want to see 24 World Class Women’s teams compete for $25\,000 in the Jonsson’s Independent Women’s Fall Classic. \nSince its humble beginnings in 2006\, the Women’s Fall Classic has become a World Curling Tour event and is one of the biggest women’s only non-Grand Slam events in Canada \nThis year’s event features 10 of the top 50 teams in the current World Curling Rankings including Team Lawes (Winnipeg)\, Team Skrlik (Calgary)\, Team St-Georges (Montreal)\, Team Kitizawa (Japan)\, Team Huirlemann (Switzerland) and Team Strouse (USA).  Team Lawes is skipped by Kaitlyn Lawes who is a two time Olympic Gold Medalist.  In addition\, Ottawa area teams skipped by Daniel Inglis\, Jenny Madden\, Erin Morrissey and NGCC’s own Jaimee Gardner would love to claim the first prize cheque of $7\,500 and hoist the Fall Classic Trophy come Sunday afternoon. \nThe Fall Classic would like to thank our local sponsors:  Jonsson’s Independent (title Sponsor)\, Valley Productions (presenting sponsor)\, Jim Dolan\, Equinelle\, Sandy Row Golf Course\, Grahams Bakery\, Vipond\, Kemptville Brewery and numerous team sponsors. \nThe North Grenville Curling Club is a converted hockey rink so fans have the unique opportunity to offer their vocal support to their favourite teams by watching the games from the stands. \nVisit the Classic website at https://fallclassic.ngcurling.org/ for all draw times and opening game matchups.  Admission is $25 for an event pass or $10 per day.  Persons aged 17 and under are admitted free. \n\nIf you wish to become involved as a sponsor or volunteer\, please email fallclassiccurling@gmail.com.
