Take Back the Night is the oldest worldwide movement to stand against sexual violence in all forms. TBTN began in the 1970s with a Tribunal Council meeting in Belgium attended by 2000+ women representing 40+ countries.

This annual march is about reclaiming our streets, raising awareness about gender-based violence, and supporting survivors. Together, we’ll walk through downtown Kemptville as a visible show of community support and unity.
Details
When: Thursday, September 25, 2025
6:00 pm – We Gather – at Rotary Park (corner of Clothier Street East and Prescott Street). Sign Making – If you don’t have a sign and want to make one, materials will be provided on site.
6:30 pm – We Rally – Hear stories from our community organizations. Lift up others who have experienced violence. Take a stand against sexual violence and violence against us all.
7:00 pm – We March – March the streets of downtown Kemptville.
